Finding Candidates - Our Process
Our first choice is to not advertise on the Web. We first go to our data bases to identify qualified candidates. If they do not exist in our data bases we then call currently employed candidates in competitive companies or organizations directly and, in a meaningful dialogue, evaluate their qualifications and personal suitability for both the position and your organization. Only then do we recommend them to you.

Clear understanding of our client's organizational history, culture, needs and the full scope of the assignment. We define each assignment clearly in writing, including the timeframe and anticipated fees and expenses.
Research and Sourcing
Research and sourcing begin when Stewart, Cooper & Coon and our client agree upon the specific definition of the position and the attributes of the desired candidate. We review our extensive data sources, including our proprietary database. We conduct a complete and thorough analysis of target industries. We also initiate confidential discussions with sourced passive candidates at this stage.
Interview and Evaluation
Interview and evaluation take place only after our research and sourcing efforts identify the best possible candidates. We conduct an extensive one-on-one interview with each candidate to determine his or her level of interest and to evaluate qualifications and personal suitability for both the position and your organization.
Candidate Reports and Recommendations
Candidate reports and recommendations are presented only for the candidates deemed most appropriate for the position. Stewart, Cooper & Coon will submit reports detailing the candidates' business background and experience, as well as our candid appraisal of their fit within the parameters of the position and your organization.
Client Interviews and Assessment
We arrange meetings between client and candidates and help clients evaluate the outcome. This includes answering any and all questions that may arise and, if necessary, arranging subsequent meetings to further evaluate each specific candidate.
When our client makes a clear choice and extends an offer to the candidate, Stewart, Cooper & Coon navigates the final steps in the search process.
